I got off to a good start and was in the lead. Neil Falkner, myself and Steve Mercer made a brake from everyone else. I tried making a break but I could not get away from the 1000cc bikes. Steve Mercer then had a big crash and they red flagged the race he was ok though. I was on pole for the restart and I got a good start and was in the lead........Click here for more |

All I had to do was finish in the top 10 to finish 3rd in the Championship. The track was now dry. I got off to a good start and was 2nd behind Matt Witman, we pulled a bit of a gap on everyone else and I felt comfortable sitting behind him. I got off to a good start and was lying fourth, I overtook James Rose to take third place but then made a mistake and he took it back. A lap later I overtook him back and pulled a gap on him as I caught up with the front two riders – Matt Whitman and Tom Grant. “Thruxton was a really good weekend I was confident from the start because I rode well there on my 125 last year. Sunday morning I got up and it looked like we were going to have a good dry day and I was 3rd fastest in free practice which I was really pleased with and I new that I could go a bit faster.....Click Here |

There was a lot to cope with for James at Donington at the weekend.
