James Webb:

Problems with set up will not get the better of James.

Still having problems with detonation in Friday Practice and Saturday Qualifying James qualifying in 13 th place on the grid which put him on the fourth row. After having a re-start at the beginning of the race James got his head down and chased the riders in front.

Battling with Rob Guiver and John Pearson he was on the leaders race pace but was unfortunate enough not to get away with them. Coming in from the race James new that the bike was still underpowered and even John Pearson said to James that he was embarrassed about overtaking him every-time down the straight.

James finished 9 th in the race and was pleased to be able to bag a few points putting him 5 th in the British Championship and joint 2 nd in the ACU Academy Cup. He is looking forward to Mallory.
