| Friday – Practice – James went out feeling good. He learnt the track quickly but the bike was still not quite right, so again we set to work, getting good feed back from James all the time.
Saturday Qualifying – James went out again feeling good and proved it. The bike was good and the weather not bad. James qualified 9 th in the first session and finished 11 th in the combined qualifying at the end of the day. Fantastic – third row start.
Sunday – Race day – James got of the line good and was in a gaggle of riders his position was changing all the time from 6 th down to 13 th – the battle was on. Keeping his head and riding with his cool charisma intact he finished a fantastic 10 th , being the youngest rider out there and up against the best in Britain he was well chuffed. James was also the fastest rider through sector 1 which proved to everyone that he definitely has the ability to be there. |
