Friday – practice – James had never ridden or even seen this track before. Weather conditions were awful (wet, windy and cold). He got his head and did the best to feed back on how the bike was running.
Saturday Qualifying – James went out in miserable conditions, but managed to qualify a creditable 13 th in the first session, going out for the second session, which started to of dry, James felt he could improve on this position. Alas the heavens opened and the session was cancelled. James had to start the race in 17 th position on the grid.
Sunday – Race day – James set of the line in damp conditions, but kept his slicks on. He battled his way through in the normal 125 way everyone battling for that position infront. James managed to finish 16 th in the race. He was disappointed with this but knows that due to track and weather conditions he was glad to get a finish. |
