| Friday – practice – James was feeling good he liked the track and the bike felt good.
Saturday Qualifying – James rode well in qualifying with weather conditions being dry he qualified 13 th in the first session, unfortunately due to some alterations to the bike it went the other way for the second session and James finished up qualifying 18 th , not being too happy with this and informing us that the bike was not as good as it was, alterations were done.
Sunday – Race day – James starting on the 5 th row new he had his work cut out. Sitting on the line it started raining – then came the gamble – wets or slicks for tyre choice. James chose slicks. The race began, the track was wet, James started out carefully, as the track began to dry he made his way through the other riders. Then the course car came out, now James was lying about 18 th having made his way up from 22 nd he new the last four laps were crucial as the rain was threatening to fall again. When the course car pulled in there were four laps left, he went for it. James finished in 6 th place!!! Fantastic. |
