Saturday – Bemsee
Daniel rode in the Bemsee round on the Saturday to get used to the track and to set his bike up ready for Sunday’s MRO round.
Sunday – MRO
After a slip off on the Saturday Daniel was now rebuilt and ready to go. His confidence was high. He had a reasonable start and tried to keep with race leader Kev Cougland for the first few laps, unfortunately then Kev managed to pull a gap on Dan so now he was battling for second place with last year’s Superteen winner James Rose. Daniel got the advantage and clinched second place by some 2 seconds.
Second Race - Daniel got of to a good start and kept up with Kev for a good part of the race, then Kev started to pull a gap, Daniel fort on with the last year’s winner behind him. Just on the line James Rose managed to slip past Daniel, leaving him to finish in 3 rd place. Still on the podium though in every round – Daniel was pleased with this result. |
